Corrine Rios
for State Rep

Primary Election is June 4, 2024

June 4, 2024 is right around the corner! Here is an update on the Rios for New Mexico Campaign.
  • I visited 1,973 Republican homes in District 57.  That's more than the amount of Republicans who voted in the last primary for District 57. In 2022, only 1,428 Republicans voted in the primary.
  • We reached 2,360 Republicans. We left door hangers at each home.
  • We were able to send out one mailer and two TXT messages.
  • We had RED RIOS signs in District 57 the longest.
  • We stayed within our budget.
  • I have NO Endorsements. I didn't seek any.
  • I am pretty sure I raised the least amount of money and spent the least amount of money.  That was my goal from the beginning.

About Corrine

Families First

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico in a working class family. My parents worked hard to provide for their family of six. My parents put their four children through Catholic elementary and middle school. I graduated from Highland High School and continued my education at the University of New Mexico.
My parents stressed the importance of education, with the help of my parents and my husband, I was the first member of my immediate family to graduate from college with a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. My parents also stressed the importance of work ethic, and saving for a rainy day.  My parents were hard working and never relied on the government for handouts. Those conservative values have been passed down to our children.

I met my husband in 1987 and we have been married for 32 years. We have five children and seven grandchildren. I left teaching in 1998 to be a stay at home mom and home school our five children. I am still a stay at home mom homeschooling our last child.

We are a military family. My husband served in the US Air Force, our oldest served in the US Marines, our daughter served in the US Army, and our son-in-law is currently serving in the US Army.

I believe families are the backbone of our communities, our state, and our country. Without the stability the family structure provides, our communities fall into chaos.  My husband and I have been providing that stability and God-centered rearing to our children for thirty-seven years.  Our family is our greatest accomplishment.
